Feeding Operation Evaluation

As a member of Barton, Kiefer, & Associates, we feed over 300,000 cows in the US.  There are 17 consultants in the group. The group has experience in any region and climate and have experience with all forage types.

      • Design new green field site feed centers or remodel an existing facility

      • Feed centers are designed or remodeled utilizing the Feed Zone Model Concept

In depth analysis of the complete feeding operation

    • Increase efficiency

    • Reduce cost of making, mixing, and delivering the TMR

    • Properly sizing equipment

    • Analyzing to determine the proper feeding equipment (stationary, pull type or truck mount mixer)

    • Developing the proper feeding schedule that maximizes efficiency and proper delivery timing
